Apex Home Health, Hospice & Home Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for travel staffing opportunities to serve underserved communities. The role involves the full nursing process from assessment to follow-up and requires collaboration with physicians to optimize patient care.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited nursing degree with an active RN license and have at least one year of nursing experience, including travel exposure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current, unencumbered RN license with the state or multistate licensure if applicable.
• At least one year of nursing experience, including six months of travel experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver personalized patient care.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals, including physicians, to coordinate and evaluate patient care plans.
• Providing care across all phases—from preventative care and health maintenance to diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Performing patient assessments, education, triage, and various nursing interventions within the scope of practice.
• Adhering to professional standards, including the Nurse Practice Act and ethical guidelines from the American Nurses Association.

Additional Information

• Offers weekly pay, including stipends, with eligibility for benefits such as health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
• Contract duration is 14 weeks with options to extend or transfer to other sites.
