Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to repair, maintain, and support industrial refrigeration equipment for customers in food and beverage, cold storage, and pharma sectors. A working knowledge of commercial and industrial refrigeration and electrical controls is required.

This traveling role follows a 10-day tour schedule with 50–60 hours weekly, typically working 10 to 12 hour days. EPA certification or ability to obtain; RETA 1&2 preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; HVAC tech school preferred.
• Working knowledge of commercial/industrial refrigeration and electrical controls.
• EPA certification or ability to obtain; RETA 1&2 preferred.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background checks required.
• Must pass respirator fit test and health screenings; able to work 10–12 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain industrial refrigeration equipment for accounts in food/beverage and cold storage.
• Perform routine and emergency service on ammonia/Freon systems and control/alarms.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and supervise preventative maintenance.
• Adhere to all safety policies and regulatory requirements.
