Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a traveling Service Technician to support industrial refrigeration equipment across food and beverage and refrigerated storage facilities.

The role requires working knowledge of commercial and industrial refrigeration and electrical controls, with a focus on ammonia and Freon systems. Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, knowledge of high/low voltage controls, and EPA certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ of relevant experience in supermarket/rack/industrial refrigeration systems
• Knowledge of controls and electric (high and low voltage)
• Universal EPA certification
• Motor alignment experience
• RETA 1/2 certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance support for industrial refrigeration equipment in food/beverage and refrigerated storage
• Routine and emergency service on ammonia and Freon refrigeration equipment
• Troubleshoot screws and reciprocating compressors; electrical control/alarm systems inspections
• Follow safety policies and governing requirements
