Job summary

CoolSys is seeking Refrigeration Start-up Technicians to lead start-ups of supermarket refrigeration, heating and ventilation equipment, ensuring customer needs are met efficiently and on time, while assisting with Energy Optimization projects.

The role requires journeyman-level expertise in refrigeration, EMS systems, and the ability to travel two weeks out and two weeks at home, coordinating with local managers and crews across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or trade program completion required.
• EPA I and II Certification required.
• EMS Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Start-up of supermarket refrigeration, heating and ventilation equipment.
• Assist with Energy Optimization (EO) projects.
• Perform EMS wiring and programming for EMS systems.
• Lead small projects such as case and condenser changes.
• Collaborate with Service and Construction Managers across stores.
