Job summary
CoolSys is hiring Refrigeration Start-up Technicians to commission supermarket refrigeration, heating and ventilation equipment, and to support Energy Optimization projects. The role requires expertise in EMS wiring, programming, and startup of parallel rack systems, with opportunities to lead small projects and work across multiple stores.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial refrigeration, EMS systems, and the ability to read blueprints, with willingness to travel
Qualifications
- Expert knowledge of refrigeration, ice machines, and electrical systems.
- Expert knowledge of EMS systems in supermarket applications (CPC, Novar, Danfoss).
- Ability to read blueprints for refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing.
Responsibilities
- Perform evacuations of parallel racks after pressure tests.
- Execute EMS wiring and programming for EMS systems from multiple manufacturers.
- Start-up of new parallel refrigeration systems and individual systems.
- Lead small projects such as single case and condenser change outs.
- Assist with EO projects including retro-commissioning and EMS upgrades.
- Coordinate with branch Service and Construction Managers across projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
