Job summary

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking a Traveling Quality Inspector based in Dubuque, IA. This part-time, as-needed role operates on 1st shift from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with up to regional overnight travel.

You will perform audits on incoming material, identify non-conforming parts, and support manufacturing quality through hands-on inspection, tooling, and documentation. The position reports to the Site Manager and requires basic blueprint reading and Excel

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Basic knowledge of materials and production processes.
• Basic knowledge of quality control methods.

Responsibilities

• Audit incoming material using hand gaging and visual inspection.
• Contain non-conforming parts and sub-assemblies.
• Rectify non-conforming material by rework, sorting and/or scrapping as directed by Team Leader.
• Determine tools and equipment needed to do the job.
• Read basic blueprints to determine tolerance of parts and sub-assemblies.
• Use hand tools to repair and/or clean parts and sub-assemblies.
