Job summary

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking a Traveling Quality Inspector based in Dubuque, IA. This part-time, as-needed position operates on a 1st shift schedule (5:30 AM–2:00 PM, Mon–Fri) with regional overnight travel.

Pay ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, and travel is required to support the customer site and production lines. The role involves audits of incoming materials, hand gaging, blueprint reading, and ensuring product conformance through defect containment and rework as directed

Qualifications

• Experience performing inspections and audits to verify conformance.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and use hand tools for repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits on incoming material using hand gaging and visual checks to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Contain non-conforming parts and/or sub-assemblies.
• Rectify non-conforming material by rework, sorting and/or scrapping as directed by Team Leader.
• Determine the tools and equipment needed to do the job.
• Grind, sand, and oil parts and/or sub-assemblies using hand tools or equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
