Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing seeks a Traveling Quality Control Manager to implement, manage, and enforce a project-specific Quality Control Program on complex federal infrastructure and construction projects, in full compliance with contract documents and the approved QC Plan.

The role requires extensive QA/QC leadership, strong familiarity with USACE EM 385-1-1, ability to interpret drawings and specs, and experience across electrical, civil, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction experience in a QC leadership role (QC Manager, Superintendent, Project Engineer, Construction Manager).
• Demonstrated experience administering a formal construction Quality Control Program.
• Working knowledge of USACE EM 385-1-1 Safety and Health Requirements.
• Ability to interpret drawings, technical specs, contract documents, submittals, testing requirements, and codes.

Responsibilities

• Implement, manage, and enforce a project-specific Quality Control Program on federal infrastructure/construction projects.
• Ensure full compliance with contract documents, regulations, and the approved QC Plan.
• Interpret drawings, specs, and submittals to verify QC conformity and documentation.
• Coordinate commissioning, testing, and related QC activities across multiple systems.
