Equiliem seeks a Traveling Quality Assurance and Quality Control Manager to oversee installation quality for low voltage infrastructure in construction and mission critical environments. You will inspect fiber, copper, pathways, racks, and cable tray systems to verify compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and applicable codes, while leading corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience installing and inspecting low voltage infrastructure (fiber, copper, pathways, racks, cable tray).
• Experience conducting QA/QC inspections, documenting deficiencies, leading corrective actions.
• Experience in new construction or active data centers or similar environments.
• Hands-on use of Fluke DSX testers, OTDRs, fiber inspection scopes, and optical power meters.
• Strong knowledge of BICSI, TIA/EIA, NEC, and hyperscale installation standards.

Responsabilités

• Conduct daily quality inspections of fiber, copper, pathways, racks, and cable tray installations.
• Verify installations against drawings, specifications, elevations, and client standards.
• Enforce BICSI, TIA/EIA, NEC, and hyperscale installation standards.
• Review and validate test results against project requirements.
• Maintain inspection logs, punch lists, and QA/QC documentation.
• Identify deficiencies early, coordinate corrective actions, and verify repairs.
• Coach technicians on installation techniques and workmanship standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, site leadership, general contractors, and clients during walkthroughs and quality meetings.
• Follow site safety and change control requirements in new construction and active mission critical facilities.
