Job summary

Graywolf Integrated Construction Company is seeking a traveling QA/QC CWI to support projects in Centertown, Kentucky. The role focuses on quality inspections of welding, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, boilers and piping.

Candidates must have four years of heavy industrial experience, a valid CWI, and the ability to read and interpret codes. You will ensure compliance, maintain calibration records, organize turnover packages, and cooperate with project teams.

Qualifications

• Four years of formal training and experience in heavy industrial projects such as refineries, petrochemical complexes, power plants, etc.
• CWI required.
• Experience in understanding WPSs, PQRs, and WPQs.
• Ability to effectively interact with project team members, clients, subcontractors and craft employees.
• Must be capable of obtaining or possess inspection licenses and/or certifications as required.
• Read, write and communicate in English to perform job functions.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections for welding, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, boilers, piping, mechanical equipment and coatings.
• Read, interpret codes and standards (ASME, NBIC, API, AWS, etc.) and schedule testing activities.
• Assess subcontractors' capabilities to meet project quality requirements.
• Maintain calibration records and ensure test equipment remains within specification.
• Ensure turnover documentation is complete and properly scanned into the database.
