Job summary

Kimmel & Associates, Inc. is representing a leading federal services contractor seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee one of three major heavy civil projects valued at $50M+.

You will guide design, engineering, construction, safety, quality, and scheduling, manage client and stakeholder relations, and lead a large, multidisciplinary project team through all lifecycle phases. Travel ~50% to Darwin, Australia included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 12+ years of total construction experience, incl. 5 years as a Project Manager on heavy civil projects $50M+.
• DOD, USACE, or NAVFAC experience.
• Fluent English.
• Primavera P6 and MS Office proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day execution through all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Manage client relationships and protect company interests.
• Oversee design, engineering, construction, safety, quality, and scheduling.
• Manage project financial activities, including AR/AP.
• Negotiate and execute contracts and purchase orders with subs.
• Lead weekly and monthly project meetings with stakeholders.
• Ensure contractual and administrative requirements are met on schedule.
• Identify and secure resources for project execution.
• Communicate clearly across the project team.
• Support commissioning, closeout, and warranty.
