Job summary

Kimmel & Associates seeks a Vice President / Project Executive to lead U.S. military construction pursuits and oversee major projects across the UK and Europe.

The role requires extensive experience with airfield infrastructure and federal contracts, plus ability to travel internationally and potentially relocate as the portfolio grows. The position offers a senior executive leadership track, with opportunities to shape business development and project delivery for high‑profile government

Qualifications

• 20+ years of professional construction experience.
• U.S. Military construction experience is required.
• NAVFAC and USACE experience is required.
• Air Force client/project experience strongly preferred.
• Experience delivering projects valued at $100M+.
• Demonstrated experience with both horizontal construction: runways, taxiways, airfield infrastructure; vertical construction: bases facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for U.S. Federal construction pursuits and projects in the UK/Europe.
• Lead business development, proposal strategy, client engagement, and contract pursuits.
• Oversee project delivery from preconstruction through closeout.
• Establish execution strategies, staffing, schedules, budgets, and performance expectations.
• Coordinate across project management, field operations, subcontractors, and partners.
• Maintain relationships with federal clients, especially Air Force stakeholders.
• Manage project financials, schedule, quality, safety, and contractual compliance.
• Travel frequently throughout the UK/Europe; potential relocation to the UK as workload grows.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline
