Job summary

Barton Malow is seeking a Project Engineer to support high‑profile, fast-paced construction projects across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. You will work closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, design partners, and trade contractors to keep work progressing and align with project goals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field, 1–5 years of experience, and a strong focus on safety and process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 1–5 years of professional experience in construction or related industry.
• Strong organizational skills with documentation management.
• Effective communicator across diverse teams.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel to NC, SC, and GA.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and owners on progress, changes, and coordination needs.
• Process and track submittals and RFIs to ensure timely review.
• Assist with project schedule development, updates, and change orders.
• Promote and enforce corporate safety policies on the jobsite.
