Job summary

Barton Malow is seeking a Project Engineer to support high‑profile construction projects across NC, SC, and GA. The initial assignment will be in Macon, GA, with flexibility to travel as needed. You will coordinate with Superintendents, PMs, design partners, and subcontractors to keep work on schedule, ensure safety, and maintain quality.

A relevant degree and 1–5 years’ experience are expected. OSHA 30 preferred; VDC/BIM experience a plus, and a collaborative, proactive mindset is essential for

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
1–5 years of professional construction experience.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage documentation.
Effective communicator across diverse teams.
OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Willingness to travel across NC, SC, and GA.
VDC/BIM experience is a plus.
Commitment to safety and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with architects, engineers, and owners to track progress and changes.
Support field teams with subcontractor performance and schedule adherence.
Manage submittals, RFIs, meeting agendas, and coordination meetings.
Assist with project schedules and evaluation of change orders.
Promote and enforce safety policies on the jobsite.
