Job summary

Barton Malow is seeking a Traveling Project Manager (or Sr. Project Manager) to lead large-scale sports and entertainment venue projects across the Carolinas and Georgia, with travel and strong field leadership.

You will work closely with owners, designers, and trade contractors to drive schedule, quality, and cost, delivering iconic facilities that energize communities. The first assignment is on-site at a major sports venue in Macon, GA, requiring full-time presence and the ability to manage

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of GC/CM construction management experience.
• Sports venue construction experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to support projects across the Carolinas and Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement, bidding strategy, and contract development with owners and vendors.
• Set up and manage project planning, schedule, and site logistics.
• Oversee field operations, safety plans, and punchlist processes.
• Monitor cost management and cash flow; analyze change orders and budgets.
• Facilitate meetings, RFIs, submittals, and coordination with architects/engineers.
