Job summary

Primary Care Solutions is seeking an experienced PRN Nurse Practitioner to provide on-site, short-term coverage at VA Community-Based Outpatient Clinics in multiple states. Assignments vary from one week per month to full-time equivalent, with travel on Sundays and return Fridays, depending on location.

Qualifications

• Nurse practitioner degree from an accredited program.
• MSN required and FNP/AGPCNP board certification.
• Active state licenses where services are provided.
• Active DEA registration and BLS certification.
• Minimum one year clinical practice preferred; travel flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and examinations.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Review labs, imaging and consults to guide care.
• Document encounters in VA EHR (VISTA/CPRS).
• Coordinate care with PACT team members.
• Ensure compliance with VA credentials and standards.
• Promote high-quality patient experiences and outcomes.
