Job summary
Arcosa Aggregates is seeking an experienced Plant Maintenance Mechanic to travel to multiple plant sites and perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and inspections on crushers, conveyors, screens, and pumps. Qualifications
- Requires welding experience and ability to fabricate/repair plant components.
- Must be able to perform routine and emergency repairs on plant equipment.
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency repairs on plant equipment such as crushers, conveyors, screens, and pumps.
- Conduct screen changes, belt repairs, wear parts replacements, and pump servicing to maintain efficiency.
- Fabricate/repair components using cutting torches, grinders, and welding equipment as needed.
- Operate hand and power tools safely for equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Inspect machinery, document findings, and report needs to prevent failures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work area.
- Promote safety and coordinate maintenance activities with plant operators.
