Job summary

AccentCare is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant in McKinney, TX to join a dedicated interdisciplinary team. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, provide patient care, and document treatment plans while managing a caseload across Nevada, Lavon and surrounding areas.

The role requires an Associates degree in Physical Therapy, a current license to practice, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license for travel to all locations.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Current license/registration/permit to practice in state of operation.
• CPR certification required.
• Must be a licensed driver and able to travel to all business locations.
• Ability to implement care plans and educate patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and document treatment per physician orders and policy.
• Document interventions, approaches, and treatment priorities.
• Deliver organized, efficient patient treatment and counseling.
• Present patient information to supervising therapist and team.
• Provide skilled treatment within agency and payer parameters.
• Seek assistance from team for treatment planning and execution.
• Accurately document, complete daily notes and required forms timely.
• Meet agency productivity standards and use work hours efficiently.
• Attend agency meetings and committees as assigned.
• Negotiate patient participation in treatment and schedules.
