Job summary

AccentCare in Beaumont, TX is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our full-time team serving Orange, TX and surrounding areas. Working under a licensed Physical Therapist, you will provide patient care, document treatment, and participate in interdisciplinary planning to support recovery and mobility.

Requirements include an associate degree, an active state license, CPR certification, and the ability to travel to different locations.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Valid license/permit to practice in state of operation.
• CPR certification maintained while employed.
• Must be able to travel to all business locations.
• Ability to educate patients and families on home safety and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and document treatment per physician orders and policy.
• Document interventions, approaches, priorities and outcomes.
• Educate and counsel patient and family; ensure timely notes and documentation.
• Communicate patient status to supervising therapist and team.
• Deliver skilled treatment within agency and payer guidelines.
• Collaborate with team on treatment planning and adjust plans as needed.
• Attend meetings and contribute to patient care decisions.
