Job summary

AccentCare, Inc. Brenham, TX is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our clinical team on a full-time basis.

You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide plan-of-care, document treatment, educate patients and families, and participate in interdisciplinary rounds to support patient outcomes. The role requires an Associate degree in Physical Therapy, valid CPR, and a driver's license to travel between local locations.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with CPR certification.
• Under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, provide treatment per orders.
• Educate patients and families on home safety and medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and document treatment per physician orders and policy.
• Document interventions, priorities and progress notes daily.
• Educate and counsel patients and families, communicate with supervising therapist.
• Meet productivity standards and participate in meetings as assigned.
• Coordinate treatment times and plans with the care team.
