Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned geography (~100%).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens accurately.
• Centrifuge specimens, record maintenance data, and decontaminate as required.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Reduce patient anxiety by providing a calm environment.
• Match requisitions to tubes, label, split, and prepare for transport.
• Ensure 100% accuracy by checking test requisitions against scripts.
