Job summary

The role requires 6 months of venipuncture experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and state phlebotomy certification where applicable. This is a full-time, on-site position in New York.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab/hospital setting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent patient interaction skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen preparation according to protocol.
• Label, centrifuge, store, and transport specimens as required.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly to patients and obtain samples with minimal discomfort.
• Ensure all test requisitions match scripts and maintain accurate labeling.
