Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Part-Time Pediatric Dental Assistant to travel between our Boston-area locations, including Braintree, Somerville, and South Boston. You will support dentists, help keep procedures efficient, and ensure a positive patient experience through effective communication and teamwork.

The role requires reliable transportation for local travel, knowledge of dental procedures, and a CDA preference. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to travel between locations.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• CDA certification preferred or relevant credential.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment.
• Chairside assisting during a variety of dental procedures.
• Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures.
• Provide post-operative instructions and patient education.
• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments.
• Maintain infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA standards.
• Maintain dental supply inventory.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
