Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Part-Time Traveling Orthodontic Dental Assistant to provide clinical support and help connect patients with dentists across our network. You will travel to multiple locations including Groton, Bloomfield, Enfield, and Waterbury to assist chairside, expose radiographs, and uphold infection control.

Reliable transportation is required; mileage reimbursement is provided. If you have dental assistant credentials (C.D.A.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to travel between locations.
• C.D.A. certification preferred.
• Strong verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment
• Chairside assisting during a variety of dental procedures
• Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures
• Provide post operative instructions and patient education
• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA
• Maintain dental supply inventory
• Perform other related job duties as assigned
