Job summary

Mistras Group, Inc. is seeking Level II PAUT Technicians willing to travel throughout the U.S. to cover call-out, projects and turnarounds as needed.

The role requires PAUT certification per SNT-TC1A, a valid TWIC, and a valid driver's license. The technician will set up equipment, perform PAUT tests, and document results while overseeing trainees. Applicants should have a specialized NDT program and Level II certification, with the ability to navigate codes and standards, and maintain safety

Qualifications

• Specialized NDT program meeting SNT-TC1A (PAUT) required.
• UTSW NDE Level II certification with 1 year experience or Level II per SNT-TC1A on PAUT/UTSW is required.
• High School graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate equipment.
• Conduct tests with Phased Array NDT.
• Interpret, evaluate and document results.
• Direct the work of trainees and Level I personnel.
• Be familiar with codes, standards and contractual documents controlling the method.
