Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking an experienced NDT PAUT Technician for projects based in Atlanta, GA, and travel assignments across the United States. The role involves performing advanced PAUT inspections, interpreting data, and preparing reports in accordance with codes and customer requirements.

Current Level II or III PAUT certification is required, along with PAUT field experience. Willingness to travel and adhere to safety standards are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Level II or III PAUT certification required.
• Graduate of a specialized NDT program meeting SNT-TC1A for PAUT.
• Strong understanding of ultrasonic testing principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform PAUT inspections on welds, piping, pressure vessels, and structural components.
• Set up and calibrate PAUT equipment.
• Interpret and evaluate inspection data in accordance with codes and specifications.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and documentation.
• Travel to customer sites throughout the U.S. as project demands require.
• Work overtime, weekends, and outages as needed.
