PDS Health in Cedar Park, TX is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and deliver the Perfect Patient Experience. You will assist with patient care, sterilization, radiographs, and charting while ensuring a clean, compliant practice.

The role requires teamwork, strong communication, reliability and the ability to travel between offices for specialty support, maintaining a high standard of patient care.

Qualifikationen

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED and state-mandated certification/training.
• State certification, licensure, or registration as required.
• Specialty Dental Assistants require valid driver’s license and auto insurance with background and MVR checks.
• Specialty Dental Assistants travel between offices as needed.

Aufgaben

• Perform functions per state Dental Auxiliaries Table of Permitted Duties.
• Assist PPE and keep patients focused on treatment and individual needs.
• Escort patients to front desk and introduce them to team.
• Coordinate with front/back office to keep Orthodontists schedule running smoothly.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments; clean operatories per infection guidelines.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist.
• Take radiographs and intra-oral pictures efficiently.
• Prepare tray setups and maintain supplies in each operatory.
• Keep mouths dry using suction and other devices.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral care.
• Record patient charting and notes in the digital chart.
• Present treatment records and health history to clinician.
• Ensure equipment is maintained per manufacturer guidelines.
• Work with Lead Dental Assistant on supplies.
• Learn to operate and demonstrate equipment.
• Participate in daily huddles and team meetings.
• Model company culture and brand standards.
• Implement the PPE process to gain Patients for Life.
• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor; comply with policies and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
