Job summary

PDS Health is seeking a Dental Assistant in Round Rock, TX to support clinicians in delivering the Perfect Patient Experience and build Patient for Life. You will assist with patient preparation, radiographs, and instrument sterilization, while maintaining a clean, compliant operatory.

The role requires adherence to state regulations, strong communication, and teamwork as you coordinate with front desk and clinical staff to ensure smooth schedules and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; state-required certs/licensure.
• One-year certificate from an accredited program preferred.
• Strong computer and charting skills.
• Excellent communication and patient service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per the state Dental Auxiliaries Table of Permitted Duties.
• Assist clinicians to deliver the PPE and patient care.
• Prepare patients and radiographs as directed by the clinician.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean operatory.
• Maintain inventory and ensure adequate supplies in each operatory.
