Job summary

42 NORTH DENTAL is seeking a Full-Time Traveling Orthodontic Dental Assistant to provide clinical support across multiple locations including Wakefield and Methuen. This role requires strong verbal skills and a positive team approach to ensure a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities include chairside assisting, taking patient photographs, preparing treatment rooms, and maintaining infection control compliance. Benefits include health insurance, dental benefits, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology is essential.
• Certification or licensure required as specified by the state.

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment.
• Chairside assisting and taking intra and extra oral photographs.
• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments.

Overview

This is a Full-Time Traveling Orthodontic Dental Assistant role.

Requires local travel between the following locations: Wakefield, Saugus, Arlington, North Andover, Medford, Methuen, Norwood, and Peabody.

Strong verbal skills and a positive team approach to patient care are essential.

The Dental Assistant provides clinical support to facilitate patient–dentist interactions, increase efficiency, and maintain communication among dentists, patients, and administrative staff to ensure a positive patient experience.

Our Specialty team travels to multiple locations. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment
• Chairside assisting
• Taking intra and extra oral photographs
• Proper impression techniques for a variety of orthodontic appliances
• Laboratory work
• Provide post‑operative instructions and patient education
• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPAA
• Maintain orthodontic supply inventory
• Perform other related job duties as assigned
