Currently, we are in search of an outstanding treatment coordinator to travel with our Oral Surgeon! The Treatment Coordinator acts as a liaison between the doctor and the patient, providing a calm and warm environment for anxious patients. They prepare financial estimates based on treatment plans, present financial options professionally, and negotiate financial arrangements as needed. They are knowledgeable about treatment timelines, the doctor’s schedule, and are prepared to support patients through their treatment journey.

Specific Job Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

• Greet and check in patients
• Audit patient charts for completeness and accuracy
• Evaluate patient insurance plans for eligibility and coverage
• Discuss treatment needs with patients
• Estimate patient out-of-pocket costs, collect, and post payments
• Schedule appointments based on clinical notes and patient needs
• Follow up with patients to complete treatment plans
• Verify patient information and schedule appointments accordingly
• Handle a high volume of phone calls
• Act as a liaison between patients and doctors
• Perform general office duties (printing, faxing, data entry, etc.)

Requirements:

• Superior customer service skills with empathy and enthusiasm
• Willingness to travel between Avon, Branford, Prospect, Shelton, and Vernon (subject to change)
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a dental office
• High school diploma or GED
• Excellent computer skills; Dentrix Ascend experience is a plus
• Willingness to learn and grow within the team
