PDS Optical is seeking an experienced optician to join our team at the St. Louis VA Hospital location. You will provide friendly, professional service to Veterans and help ensure top-tier eyewear care.

The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with no nights or weekends. Competitive pay ranges from $22 to $25 per hour, plus commissions, benefits, and opportunities for growth within a supportive mission-driven company.

Qualifications

• ABO Certification preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Fitting, adjusting, repairing and selling eyewear.
• Proficient with lensometers, pupilometers and computers.
• Knowledge of VA benefits and discounts for optical services.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and customer-focused.
