US Eye is seeking a full-time Ophthalmic Technician to join our surgical practice. The position requires travel across Washington NC, Kinston NC, Elizabeth City NC, and Kitty Hawk NC, visiting multiple clinics to support patient care.

The role emphasizes scribing, patient work-up, vision testing, refracting, visual field and OCT testing, with a strong customer-service focus and team orientation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional environment with strong customer service focus.
• Preferred medical field experience; ophthalmic exposure is a plus.
• High school or equivalent education required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician in the exam room and pre/post-operative care.
• Conduct patient work-up, vision testing, refracting, and basic testing.
• Perform OCT and imaging testing; use medical terminology accurately.
