Job summary

Center For Sight is seeking a full-time Ophthalmic Technician to join our surgical practice in Kinston, NC. The role involves direct patient interaction, data collection, and support for the ophthalmology team.

The right candidate will perform scribing, patient work-up, vision testing, refraction, and assist the physician in the room, including visual field and OCT testing. Travel to related locations may be required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional environment with a strong customer service focus.
• Previous experience in the medical field (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform scribing, patient work-up, and recording findings.
• Conduct vision testing, refracting, and related ophthalmic assessments.
• Assist the physician in the exam room and with OCT/visual field testing.
• Document findings accurately in the chart and EMR.
