84 Lumber Company is hiring a Traveling Operations Trainee, a full-time entry-level role on the management career path. You will gain hands-on experience in store operations and complete a learning plan to progress into leadership within 84 Lumber.

You will train at your home location for 2-3 months, then travel to locations nationwide for 5-12 day assignments. Travel arrangements are paid by the company, with promotion opportunities based on performance.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED-equivalent.
• Availability: Full-time schedule (48+ hours/week).
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support product handling and retail sales operations.
• Assist with freight handling, forklift operation and certification.
• Manage merchandising, inventory control, and reduction initiatives.
• Create material estimates from blueprints.
• Assist with special projects to address staffing and operational needs.
