Ideal Building Solutions seeks an On-Site Safety Supervisor to travel to roofing job sites, conduct safety inspections, and report on safety and quality. The role emphasizes leadership, PPE oversight, and crew wellbeing during extensive out-of-state travel.

This entry-level to mid-level position offers full-time hours, overtime eligibility, and travel-lodging covered by the company. Expect 30 days of travel, with most sites outside GA.

Qualifications

• Clear a National, State, and Local Background Check.
• 3-Year Motor Vehicle Record meets standards for driving company vehicles; have a current & valid Driver's License.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen & physical.
• Pass the 90-day introductory period.
• Must be willing to travel up to 30 days.
• Computer-savvy; experience with Google Workspace, Slack & safety platforms such as ClickSafety & Mitti (SafetyCulture).

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites with a 30-day rotation outside the state.
• Conduct safety inspections and identify hazards.
• Issue reports and corrective actions.
• Oversee PPE and tool inspections for safety compliance.
• Deliver weekly toolbox talks and safety meetings.
• Drive company vehicle between job sites and maintain it.
• Advocate for crew wellbeing and safe working conditions.
