PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Network/Systems Engineer to manage office moves, consolidations, and closures, test internet circuits, and assist with office integration projects for Technology.

The role requires 5+ years in Tier 2 network/IT support, valid DL and passport, and ability to travel domestically and internationally. A versatile background in systems administration, VMware, GPO/AD troubleshooting, Azure, and O365 is preferred.

Competenze

• Five+ years in Tier 2 network/computer engineering, support, or related field.
• Valid driver's license and passport. Domestic and international travel.
• Comfortable speaking with people.

Mansioni

• Verify internet circuits are active and within spec, document turn-up details.
• Validate AP locations and MACs, capture photo evidence.
• Verify camera locations, field of view, and capture test clips.
• Inventory & logistics check against BOM, reconcile discrepancies.
• Stage core network per standards: firewalls, VLANs, DHCP, DNS/NTP, SSIDs and security.
• Update site checklist, attach photos and test results, log assets.
• Place equipment orders and track deliveries.
• Provide go-live support for Office 365, portal, spam, and archiving.
• Assist with end-user support for integration projects.
• Perform office moves, closures, and decommission equipment.
