Job summary

INSPYR Solutions seeks a Network Installation Technician to install, configure, and support network infrastructure at customer sites across the U.S. This hands-on, field-based role focuses on structured cabling, network hardware deployments, and low-voltage systems.

Travel is 100% with all expenses paid; you will work 70% installation and 30% troubleshooting, visiting multiple states. Applicants must have 2+ years of experience, valid driver's license, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with structured cabling, low-voltage installations, or network infrastructure deployments.
• Experience with network hardware installations and access control/security systems (Verkada preferred).
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, VLANs, DHCP, and switching.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot structured cabling (Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6a) and network hardware, including switches, patch panels, and wireless access points.
• Deploy and configure Verkada or similar access control and security systems, including readers, controllers, door hardware, and low-voltage cabling.
• Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues, verify IP addressing and VLAN configurations, and work with engineering teams to resolve more complex issues.
• Maintain installation documentation, equipment records, and network diagrams while coordinating with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
