Job summary

TrueNet Communications is seeking an Installation Technician to manage structured cabling and the installation of voice and data systems. The role involves extensive travel and field work at customer sites, following project plans and safety guidelines.

You will coordinate with customers and other vendors to deliver high-quality, on-time installations. This position requires a strong background in telecom installation, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 6 years telecommunication training and/or experience.
• Must pass drug screen and criminal background check.
• Proficiency with Windows-based computers and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain structured cabling and telecom systems.
• Perform new project engineering and equipment installations.
• Manage inventory and calibration of tools.
• Prepare and present method of procedure for customer approval.
• Coordinate power cuts with customers inside maintenance windows.
• Ensure final paperwork is accurate and delivered to the customer.
• Work with customers and vendors to ensure project success.
• Maintain safety compliance and quality standards on site.
