Job summary

Centexconstruction is seeking a Mitigation Restoration Technician to provide rapid response and mitigation for water, fire, mold, or other damage to commercial properties in the Tampa/Orlando area. You will inspect damage, determine remediation steps, and carry out restoration using specialized equipment.

Travel will be heavy (75%) within the Tampa/Orlando market with some relocation for larger jobs. The role requires a High School diploma and prior mitigation/restoration experience; IICRC

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• IICRC certification preferred but not required.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail; professional customer communication.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Response: promptly respond to mitigation calls and take immediate action.
• Damage Assessment: inspect areas to evaluate damage and determine restoration steps.
• Mitigation Techniques: perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and odor control.
• Documentation: record work performed, assessments, and materials for claims and records.
• Equipment Operation: use dehumidifiers, air movers, moisture meters, and thermal cameras.
• Safety Compliance: follow safety protocols for team and occupants.
• Communication: update customers, insurers, and team on progress.
• Quality Control: ensure work meets standards and customer expectations.
• Other tasks as assigned by Manager or Project Manager.
