Job summary

A Heavy Industrial Contractor in Fort Dodge is seeking a Mechanical Millwright Foreman to lead a crew for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and over 3 years of experience in a foreman role. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, supervising a team, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Must be willing to travel nationwide and work under varying conditions. Overtime and shift work may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in millwright or foreman roles.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for industrial machines.
• Current OSHA 10 or MSHA Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the work of a crew.
• Read blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Align and position machines and equipment.

Skills

Knowledge of machines and tools

Ability to communicate effectively

Ability to visualize a layout

Ability to comprehend and trouble-shoot mechanical systems

Education

High school diploma or GED

Three or more years of Millwright Foreman experience
