Job summary

McClatchy Media Company in North Charleston, SC seeks a Part-Time Merchandiser to service products in multiple stores. This on-site role requires travel up to 100% of the time within the territory and a competitive wage that includes travel time.

You will follow planograms, replenish products, and build displays while meeting store standards. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, reliability, and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask and be detail-oriented.
• Conduct self in a professional manner.
• Adherence to the company’s attendance policy.
• Reliable transportation for travel.
• Able to use Movista and/or other company-required applications.
• Have personal cell phone and mobile device, such as a tablet.
• Proficient with Word, the internet, and email applications.

Responsibilities

• 100% Merchandising: work in retail stores following standards.
• Service stores as scheduled; seek approval for overtime.
• Contact Supervisor before working more than 10 hours or overtime.
• Accurately record work hours and related information in designated apps.
• Discuss duties with Supervisor before performing unlisted tasks.
