Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a senior-level MEP leader for a full-time traveling assignment across the United States. You will oversee preconstruction, engineering, and field installation of all MEP systems, reporting to the Project Manager/Executive. Expect 50–100% travel and leadership of the Turner MEP team.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of relevant experience, strong cost-management acumen, and proven communication skills, with LEED knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years' experience in design, cost, sequence, logistics and field installations of Mechanical and Electrical systems.
• Identify design features that command cost premiums and propose alternatives delivering comparable or improved function.
• Demonstrated ability to present technical material.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of project management and scheduling software desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, design consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owner's representatives to ensure alignment with client goals from initiation to completion.
• Comprehensive knowledge of contract documents (Turner's contracts, plans, specifications, codes).
• Lead, supervise and develop Turner MEP staff, including performance appraisals.
• Oversee daily activities of Engineer-MEP, Superintendent-MEP, and subordinates.
• Manage MEP procurement, project budgets, quality, safety, engineering, coordination, scheduling, installation, commissioning, and close-out processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
