Turner Construction Company is seeking an Experienced Mechanical and Electrical Systems Manager for a full-time traveling assignment supporting an Advanced Technology project in Detroit, MI. You will lead the project team, manage budgets, schedules, RFI processes, and MEP coordination with the VDC engineer, ensuring compliance with design requirements and quality standards.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with a minimum of four years of relevant engineering experience or equivalent
• Technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and how they interrelate across project types
• Strong business acumen, planning, budgeting, and communication skills, with leadership ability

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team, subcontractors, and owner’s representatives to ensure alignment and proper installation of systems
• Manage contract items list and ensure ROJ dates align with the project schedule and approvals
• Participate in schedule update meetings and provide accurate schedule information
• Evaluate and manage RFIs and change orders with budget awareness
• Co-lead MEP coordination with the VDC Engineer to ensure design compliance and quality standards
• Oversee turnover, start-up, testing, commissioning, and closeout processes
