Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an experienced engineer for a full-time traveling role on a Critical Facilities-Data Centers project in Detroit, MI. You will lead the MEP team, coordinate with subcontractors and owner’s representatives, and manage schedule, RFIs, and changes to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and at least four years of relevant experience, with strong leadership, communication, and budgeting skills in a high-stakes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least four years of relevant engineering experience.
• Technical understanding of all mechanical and electrical systems that support data center projects.
• Strong leadership, communication and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project team, subcontractors, owner’s representatives to ensure alignment and efficient installations.
• Prepare and manage the contract items list to ensure ROJ dates align with the project schedule.
• Participate in schedule update meetings and provide the latest information for planning.
• Evaluate and manage RFIs and the budget including change orders with subcontractors.
• Co-lead MEP coordination with the VDC Engineer to meet design, operations and quality standards.
• Oversee turnover, start-up, testing, commissioning and closeout.
