Qualifications

• 1+ years in a telephonic environment or office customer service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Able to travel locally up to 50% of the time.
• Occasional overnight travel within the region.
• Must have reliable car transportation.
• Must have a valid State Driver's license and auto liability insurance (100/300/100).
• Background check may include Motor Vehicle Report.

Responsibilities

• Travel to provider offices across the region to collect medical records.
• Scan paper records and download electronic records to a secure system.
• Visit physician offices in a timely, efficient manner to meet deadlines.
• Answer phones, fax, search the internet, and email as needed.
• Research and update site information using CarePlus systems.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality of member information.
• Communicate professionally to clearly state resolutions.
