Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma, experience in a medical office, and possess strong communication skills. Travel will be required between different Alliance Medical locations, and knowledge of medical terminology is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assistants.
• Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants preferred.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced medical office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
• Assist with ordering and maintaining supplies and equipment.
• Schedule tests and treatments and follow through with referrals.
• Maintain patient files and records according to office standards.
• Implement provider orders and notify patients of results.
