Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares instruments, equipment, and materials for patient care and maintains exam rooms aseptic and stocked.
• Obtains and documents complete patient data accurately and timely.
• Assists providers with exams, tests, and procedures as needed.
• Provides patient instructions for procedures and tests.
• Performs basic procedures within scope of practice.
• Ensures charges are submitted promptly.
• Processes prescriptions as directed by the provider.
• Completes FMLA paperwork and related letters as requested.
• Obtains records for patients transferring care and coordinates with referring clinics.
• Communicates with patients and relays information to the provider.
• Completes quality control measures and supports care teams.
