Job summary

Diamond Peak Recruiting seeks an experienced Traveling Mechanical Project Executive to oversee large-scale commercial mechanical construction projects and provide strategic leadership across project teams. Qualifications

• 12+ years of mechanical construction experience, with senior project leadership.
• Proven track record overseeing large commercial HVAC, plumbing, and piping projects.
• Strong financial, operational, leadership, and client management skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively to project locations.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight of large commercial mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Lead and develop project managers, superintendents, and project teams.
• Oversee budgets, forecasting, contract negotiations, schedules, and overall project profitability.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, general contractors, engineers, and key stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance, mitigate risks, and resolve high-level operational challenges.
• Support business development, client retention, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Ensure projects meet company standards for safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance.
