  • Complete MDF and IDF buildouts including rack installation, cable management, and full closeout documentation
  • Read and interpret blueprints, site maps, and low voltage project drawings

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands‑on experience as a low voltage technician in industrial or heavy commercial environments
  • Solid background in structured cabling installation including Cat5e, Cat6, termination, and testing
  • Experience with fiber optic systems — multimode and singlemode pulls, terminations, and testing
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively as a road warrior — this is a traveling role
  • Flexible with non‑traditional scheduling including nights, weekends, and rotating shifts
  • Comfortable working in tough industrial settings including cold storage, food plants, and hot warehouses
  • Able to work at heights of 40+ feet and operate boom lifts and scissor lifts
  • Must have basic hand tools, telecommunication tools, and full PPE
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record — no DUI/DWI in the last three years
  • Able to pass a background check and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with IP camera systems, CCTV, and access control platforms
  • BICSI INST1, INST2, RCDD, or other low voltage industry certifications
