Job summary

Integrated Security and Fire Inc. is seeking a hands-on Low Voltage Technician to support commercial and retail installations across multiple states.

This role requires frequent travel, overnight shifts, and a willingness to learn in the low-voltage, fire, and security systems field. You will assist with installation, service, and support of cameras, sensors, access control, and cabling on active sites such as stores and warehouses, with on-site supervision and the possibility of advancing to

Qualifications

  • No prior low-voltage experience required; training may be provided.
  • Must be willing to travel for extended periods.
  • Must be comfortable working overnight shifts.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move tools, ladders, cable, and equipment.
  • Comfortable working on ladders and in commercial job-site environments.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to assigned job sites across the U.S.
  • Assist with installation of low-voltage systems
  • Pull, route, label, and organize cable
  • Install and mount devices such as cameras, speakers, sensors, and related equipment
  • Assist with fire alarm, security, CCTV, access control, data, and audio systems
  • Terminate, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling
  • Follow project plans, site instructions, and safety procedures
  • Work with lead technicians and project managers to complete tasks
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Upload progress photos and notes as required
  • Represent the company professionally at customer sites

Schedule: Overnight / Graveyard Shift, typically Sunday-Thursday

Pay: Starting at $18/hr, based on experience

About the Role

Integrated Security and Fire Inc. is hiring Low Voltage Technicians to support commercial and retail installation projects across multiple states. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, dependable, willing to travel, and interested in growing within the low-voltage, security, fire, and structured cabling industry.

Technicians will assist with the installation, service, and support of low-voltage systems in commercial environments, including retail stores, warehouses, and other business facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Travel to assigned job sites across the U.S.
  • Assist with installation of low-voltage systems
  • Pull, route, label, and organize cable
  • Install and mount devices such as cameras, speakers, sensors, and related equipment
  • Assist with fire alarm, security, CCTV, access control, data, and audio systems
  • Terminate, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling
  • Follow project plans, site instructions, and safety procedures
  • Work with lead technicians and project managers to complete assigned tasks
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in any of the following is helpful but not required:
  • Structured cabling
  • CCTV/security camera systems
  • Access control
  • Data/network cabling
  • Construction, electrical, or general labor

This position requires frequent travel and overnight work. Technicians may work in active commercial sites, retail stores, warehouses, or construction environments. The role may involve standing for long periods, lifting materials, using hand tools, working on ladders, elevated platforms, and following strict project timelines.
